7/365 If Everyone owned a camera… by scientifiques on Flickr.

I like photography because it catches a glimpse of who we were, or who we are, but never who we will be. You have to capture the good times, freeze the moment, because if you never know who you were, how could you know who you are going to be. That’s what I love about photography. It gives me time to relax, and enjoy the moment, and this is a great cure for many of our current problems. If everyone owned a camera, the world would be a better place; instead we look at life and all its flaws, and have trouble realizing the good. This is why I love photography, because for just one quick second, time freezes. And then again. Because I have just seen what we were, and what we are, and I can’t wait to see what we are going to be.

As the miller told his tale
That her face, at first just ghostly,
Turned a whiter shade of pale
